A short background on myself: I was a professional hockey player in the NHL, IHL and European Elite Leagues for 12 years. While I was playing I was doing my kinesioloy degree through the University of Waterloo.
During my last 2 years of professional hockey in Europe, I spent the off-season training NHL and OHL players from around the Oshawa area (where I previously had my own facility). I also owned Train Like a Pro Strength and Conditioning with Adam Foote before I moved back to my hometown of Kitchener.
I have been the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach of both the Kitchener Rangers and Oshawa Generals (for a total of seven years) and also consulted to the Belleville Bulls of the Ontario Hockey League. I have trained over 30 NHL players, hundreds of OHL and minor hockey players as well as hundreds of personal training clients interested in improving their health and getting in the best shape possible.
I am in my tenth year as a personal trainer and feel that my professional athletic experience along with my strong academic background(certifications as both a Personal Trainer and Master Specialist in Sports Conditioning) and practical experience will allow me to provide you with the highest level of training available.
