Hockey Training

This is the time of year when players forget about training. You should be doing 3 30 minute training sessions a week to prepare yourself for the second half of the season. Concentrate on hockey speed, strength and accelertion. Hangclens, squats and plyometrics are vital. To keep your speed and power use 3 sets of 4 reps with heavy weights for weight training and 3 sets of 6 jumps for plyometrics.
